You may like an unique experience in a traditional Indian village, by staying with a Himachali farming family. You will stay in modern accommodation next to their farmhouse, looking out on to the foothills of the Himalayas. You will have your own kitchen and bathroom and it may be self catering, or the family will cook local food for you. You may also experience local life, milking the cows, ploughing with oxen, or harvesting a crop, such as rice. Often festivals happen, this is always an amazing event to see and be part of in India.
