White Water Rafting - On the Satluj River.
We pick our Clients up in Shimla, just 1 ˝ hours, 40 km away, or you may meet us in Suni or Chabba, where we begin the trips. Max of 8 persons per raft. The Satluj River is the longest river in India, it comes from Mt Kailash and Mansarover Lake in Tibetan China and flows into the Arabian Sea.
Trip 1. Suni to Tattapani Natural Hotsprings: Run of 5 km
Small group Cost 450/- per person, Child age 8 to 15 years 250/- Permission needed. Big group Cost 350/- per person.
Trip 2. Chaba to Tattapani, Natural Hotsprings: Run of 11km
Small group Cost 850/- per person, Child age 8 to 15 years 450/-Permission needed. Big group Cost 650/- per person.
* For a more adventurous 3 hour trip (grade 1-4 rapids) 1,250 Rs per person.
Cost Includes :
1 Our Insurance policy during your time with Treks India at the river for any mishap covered up to Rs 200 000/-.
2 All rafting equipment with a life jacket.
3 Changing Tent
4 Expert Rafting Guide from Nepal and a Helper.
5 Soft drinks and a light snack.
Not Included / Available on request at extra Cost :
1 Picnic Lunch by the river side with Camp chairs etc.
2 Evening bonfire by the beach and a tea party.
3 Over night camp available up to 20 people.
4 Hikes to visit local village life on Thali farms.
5 We can also organise highland trekking and “Stay on a Farm” for you.
6 Over night Camping and 2 days rafting from Pandoa.
7 Anything, which is not mentioned in the programme.
