Hot Springs Trek – 3 days

Day 1 - Day Hike, Shimla to Hotsprings - We meet at 7.30 am and leave Shimla at 8.00 am and take a private vehicle to Naldehra Golf Course (1 hour). Here we have breakfast in a restaurant overlooking the valley and mountain view. At about 10.30 am we leave for the 5 ½ hour trek to Tattapanni, breaking for lunch halfway.The trek takes you from 2000 metres down to 750 metres, on the trek you will walk through alpine forests and countryside passing many traditional Indian villages on the way from the mountain ridge you will see wonderful views. We arrive at the Guest House about 6.30 pm and you will be shown to your rooms. After welcome drinks you will be free to relax and take a hot bath in the Natural Hotpools. (Aurvedic Massage available at extra cost.)
We meet for supper in the evening.

Day 2 – Yoga Class, Natural Swimming Pools, Shiva Cave - An optional early morning 2 hour (Kriya, Pranayama and Hatha) Yoga and Meditation class will be held at 7.00 am, either by the Sutludge River or in the Yoga hut. Breakfast is at 9.30 am. We leave at 11.00 am for a 1 ½ hour walk along the mountain path above the river to the Natural Swimming Pools. Here you can Swim (April – October) and relax by the natural pools in the flowing stream. There will be a picnic lunch and optional Himachel games (board games). At about 4.00 pm we will visit the auspicious Lord Shiva Cave, (found in 1986, see 181 Shiva Lingms, chant and meditate -optional). From here we walk back to the Guest House, 1 ½ hours. You will be free for the evening and may take a hotbath. Supper will be in the restaurant, followed by an evening of Indian Traditional Music.

Day 3
Village Life - An optional early morning 2 hour (Kriya, Pranayama and Hatha) Yoga and Meditation class will be held at 7.00 am, either by the Sutludge River or in the Yoga hut. Breakfast is at 9.30 am. We check out at 11.00 am and take a private vehicle to a traditional farming Himachel village. Here you will see a flour mill, ploughing with oxes, a village school, villagers about their work, village and some traditional farming tools (seasonal). We will have lunch with an Indian family and you may try Indian cooking on the wood fire for yourself.
